Michael Scott receives Dean's Award
Michael Scott has been selected to receive The University Dean's Award for Meritorious Service in Ph.D. Defenses. The award will be presented to him on stage at the University Doctoral Commencement ceremony at the Eastman Theatre the morning of Saturday, May 14, followed by a reception for students, families, everyone.
This award recognizes the role as outside committee member on defenses throughout the university. Computer Science faculty have been recognized on two previous occasions. Randal Neson received the award in 2004 and Chris Brown received it in 2006.
